Muse Kids privacy policy
Muse Kids is a private family app that runs on one Meta Portal in the family's home.
What it reads
- Google Calendar (read-only): events, to show the day's schedule.
- Gmail (read-only): recent messages, to find homework and due dates in
Google Classroom notification emails.
- Google Classroom (read-only), where the account allows it: assignments and due dates.
What it does with it
- The data is read directly by the Portal and kept only on that device, to show the
schedule and due work and to give reminders.
- Nothing is sent to any server run by the app's makers, and nothing is sold, shared or
used for advertising.
- The app never sends, changes or deletes email or calendar events.
Removing access
Access can be removed at any time at
myaccount.google.com/permissions, or by
unlinking the account in the app's Set up screen, which also deletes the stored sign-in from the
Portal.
Muse Kids's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the
Google API Services User Data Policy,
including the Limited Use requirements.
